Social Worker in Charlotte, MI

This contract opportunity runs from August 14 through June 4, 2027, providing an extended and impactful role supporting students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Youll manage a caseload of approximately 30 students, dividing your time between two sites and working 3.5 days each week.

• Current school social worker certification
• Demonstrated experience as a social worker in school and/or healthcare settings
• Background or strong familiarity with supporting the social-emotional needs of K-12 students
• Ability to manage a manageable caseload across multiple locations
• Comfortable with hybrid work arrangements and working independently
• Excellent communication, organizational, and case-management skills

• Provide social-emotional and behavioral support to a diverse group of K-12 students
• Conduct evaluations and develop or contribute to student support plans
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administration at both locations
• Maintain accurate records and complete paperwork efficiently, either on-site or remotely
• Attend and contribute to meetings, both in-person and virtually, as necessary
• Deliver direct services and consultation to students, families, and staff
