School-Based Social Worker - Charlotte, Michigan

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Social Worker in Michigan
• Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of social-emotional learning, crisis intervention, and family systems
• Excellent communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing emotional, behavioral, and social issues
• Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to student needs
• Work alongside teachers, administrators, and families to assess student concerns and foster a supportive environment
• Participate in IEP meetings and document student progress
• Offer crisis support and connect students and families with community resources
