Our client is seeking a dynamic Staff Accountant who is eager to go beyond traditional accounting responsibilities and gain exposure to multiple facets of the business. This role is not confined to a cubicle—it’s an opportunity to collaborate with Operations, Sales, Customer Service, and more.
As a Staff Accountant, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting financial processes while also engaging with various teams to understand the full scope of the business. You may find yourself riding along with drivers and sales representatives or working alongside customer service teams to gain insight into billing systems. Your ability to build strong partnerships with District Managers will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare monthly financial statements, annual budgets, and support audit processes.
- Assist with system implementations and financial reporting.
- Provide operational support by analyzing daily, weekly, and monthly metrics.
- Partner with multiple departments to gain a well‑rounded understanding of business operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Willingness to relocate for career growth and promotional opportunities.
- Strong initiative, self‑motivation, and a solid work ethic.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems.
