Lead Senior Accountant

This is a newly created role due to growth. The role is onsite, on a small but growing accounting & finance team. This person will be key player on the team, supporting daily accounting operations, month-end close, reporting for the parent company and its subsidiaries.

• Key part in continuously enhancing the month-end close process and internal control environment, including journal entry preparation and monthly account reconciliations, across the parent company and subsidiaries
• Support operating companies to ensure accurate inventory costing and proper gross profit recognition.
• Perform monthly financial variance analyses by researching, documenting, and clearly communicating account-level trends & variances.
• Prepare, or assist in preparing, monthly consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Partner with external auditors and operating companies to deliver audit and tax-related documentation and support.
• Assist with post-acquisition integration activities
• Fixed Asset Accounting
• Intercompany accounting

• 3+ years' of professional accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (bachelors degree required)
• CPA preferred (not required), public accounting to start career is nice to have (not required)
• Manufacturing experience highly preferred.
• Multi-Site/Multi Entity experience required
• Experience with intercompany transactions
