Senior Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Assist with preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
• Review work completed by Staff Accountants and provide guidance as needed
• Assist with balance sheet and P&L analysis, identifying variances and trends
• Participate in process improvements and system enhancements
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 3–6+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Experience with month-end close in a corporate or public accounting environment
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Net Suite, Oracle, SAP, Workday, or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
• CPA or CPA-track preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
