Construction Accounting Coordinator

LHH is assisting a client with their need for a construction accounting coordinator
. This is a mostly onsite position in Charlotte, NC!

• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely entry of invoices and payments.
• Maintain and reconcile financial records, including job cost tracking and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and submit progress billings, lien waivers, and other project-related financial documents.
• Communicate with project managers, vendors, and clients to resolve billing or payment issues.
• Organize and maintain confidential financial files and documentation.
• Perform general office administrative duties as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in construction accounting or a similar administrative accounting role is highly desirable.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.
