Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves managing essential bookkeeping tasks such as accounts payable and receivable, invoice organization, and maintaining accurate financial records. Ideal candidates will excel in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate proficiency in Quick Books and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

- Process invoices daily, ensuring accurate data entry and timely documentation.

- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to maintain financial flow.

- Organize and scan financial documents into Quick Books Enterprise, both desktop and online versions.

- Rename and categorize files effectively using a multi-monitor setup for efficiency.

- Perform general ledger maintenance and reconciliations.

- Deposit checks and oversee bank transactions with precision.

- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless financial operations.

- Uphold high standards of data accuracy and attention to detail.

- Utilize Excel to create and manage spreadsheets for financial tracking. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years' experience in bookkeeping or a related role.

- Advanced proficiency in Quick Books, with experience in Quick Books Enterprise being a strong advantage.

- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheet creation and data analysis.

- Strong familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Demonstrated experience in general ledger maintenance.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
