PARCC Associates is representing a manufacturing client in the search for a high-impact Senior Accountant to support plant finance operations

What You’ll Be Responsible For SAP Finance & Process Ownership- Serve as a go‑to finance partner for SAP transactions and troubleshooting impacting inventory and plant accounting
- Support SAP master/transactional data integrity (e.g., materials, movement types, production postings) in partnership with operations and supply chain
- Assist with SAP process improvements
, documentation, and user enablement to strengthen accuracy and compliance - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on SAP enhancements, reporting needs, and controls
- Monitor and reconcile raw materials, WIP, and finished goods balances in SAP
- Support cycle counts and physical inventory activities, including investigation and resolution of discrepancies
- Reconcile inventory‑related balance sheet accounts and support accurate COGS and inventory reporting
- Assist with inventory reserves and required accounting entries in accordance with policy
- Prepare and post journal entries and complete account reconciliations related to plant accounting and inventory
- Ensure timely, accurate close reporting and support period‑end checklists and control requirements
- Support internal and external audit requests and maintain documentation for key processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, SOX/internal controls (if applicable), and standard procedures
- Partner with plant and supply chain teams to improve financial visibility and reporting
- Build/maintain practical reporting and dashboards (Excel; Power BI a plus) that support decision‑making
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve accuracy
- 3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or operations‑heavy environment
- Strong working knowledge of SAP in a plant or inventory environment (transactions, reconciliations, root‑cause investigation)
- Experience with inventory accounting
, WIP/production postings, and balance sheet reconciliations - Ability to communicate clearly with non‑finance stakeholders and partner cross‑functionally
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience in a discrete or process manufacturing environment
- Continuous improvement mindset; experience standardizing processes and documentation
- CPA (or in progress)
