TRC Talent - Talent Acquisition SpecialistStaff Accountant
Privately held Charlotte corporate office is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their accounting and finance team. This is a great opportunity to join a progressive company with advancement opportunities. Salary of up to $85k and excellent benefits!
Responsibilities:
- Process incoming payments by scanning checks and uploading electronic payments.
- Accurately allocate payments to the appropriate general ledger codes.
- Track and manage vendor invoices using an online accounts payable platform.
- Initiate wire transfers and ACH payments in accordance with internal controls.
- Assist in maintaining the general ledger by preparing and posting journal entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Track and report on capital expenditures and operating expenses
- Provide financial support and analysis to managers and the finance team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to assist others.
