Accounting Manager

We are partnering with a PE-backed global company on an Accounting Manager search. As the Accounting Manager, you will provide accounting support and oversight to the leadership team. This role applies the principles of accounting to ensure appropriate and accurate global internal and external financial reporting.

• Lead and actively participate in the monthly close process; coordinate close activities across functions
• Be primarily responsible for the review and maintenance of US GAAP-compliant accounting policies and processes
• Research and provide technical accounting consultations for significant, complex, or non-routine transactions
• Support the uplift of existing accounting processes to comply with best practice financial reporting requirements
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements
• Review and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collate and maintain all relevant documentation throughout the process from advisors, auditors, and management
• Serve as a subject matter expert for accounting-related inquiries
• Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Prepare technical accounting memos and position papers
• Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports
• Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others courteously and professionally
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification is required
• 4+ years of experience in public and/or corporate accounting
