Our client, a water technology provider, is seeking a Payroll Clerk for a 6 month contract opportunity located in Charlotte, NC. This role is fully onsite.
- Handle general inquiries in Workday.
- Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees.
- Calculate pay according to hours worked incorporating leaves and overtime.
- Initiate periodic payments either by preparing and administering checks or making direct deposits through a bank payment system.
- Issues statements and invoices and maintain records.
- Deal with complaints and questions regarding payroll from employees and upper management.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll.
- 3-5 years experience.
- Workday experience required.
- Lead experience preferred or someone in supervisory role.
Pay Rate - $25.05–$25.94/hour
