About the Opportunity:
Prime Personnel Resources is assisting a local business that has an Office Manager/Bookkeeper. This is a full time, direct hire opportunity. Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
This individual will be responsible for the management of the office personnel and the daily operations of the business. This will include providing accounting support and performing accounting and clerical functions. This role demands dependability, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to handle pressure during peak season times.
Key Areas of Accountability
- Oversee the management of the office and personnel
- Provide accounting and clerical support
- Payroll Management
- Accounts Payables / Accounts Receivables
- End of year closing and assisting Accountant with tax prep
- Client customer support and entering of sales/purchase orders
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel
- Assist with hiring for new positions
- Ordering office supplies
About You
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field preferred
- Prior office management experience
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and cost control
- Experience with financial and business management software and tools, including documented proficiency in Quick Books and Microsoft Excel. Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Highly motivated and detail oriented
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of personal responsibility, with strong follow through on all tasks and projects
