We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to support complex accounting activities related to acquisitions, investments, and corporate transactions.
This role offers exposure to financial reporting, technical accounting, month-end close, and process improvement initiatives within a large, dynamic organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead post-acquisition accounting activities, including integration support, financial analysis, and off-ledger reporting
- Review and record equity method investments
- Coordinate intercompany accounting activity across multiple business units
- Prepare journal entries and support month-end close activities
- Complete timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations
- Support annual audit activities by preparing schedules and requested documentation
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
- Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reporting for management
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- 2–5 years of accounting or finance experience within public accounting and/or industry
- Understanding of US GAAP and IFRS accounting principles
- Public accounting experience is a plus
- Experience with internal controls, SOX compliance, or audit support preferred
- Experience with ERP or financial reporting systems such as SAP, Hyperion, or Essbase is beneficial
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
