Corporate Accountant

This Corporate Accountant will support the corporate accounting function and play a key role in the month end close process, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting while partnering closely with the Controller.

• Play a key role in the month end and year end close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, identifying trends and variances to support informed business decisions.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and proactively research and resolve discrepancies.
• Partner with departments across the organization to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and drive operational efficiencies.
• Assist with cash management activities, account analysis, and general ledger maintenance.
• Support fixed asset accounting, accruals, prepaid expenses, and other corporate accounting functions.
• Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit and assist with audit requests and financial schedules.
• Contribute to special projects, process improvement initiatives, and system enhancements that help streamline the accounting function.
• Gain exposure to a broad range of corporate accounting responsibilities while working closely with an experienced Controller and finance leadership team.

• 2+ years of progressive experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Experience working within growing, multi-entity, or acquisition-focused environments is highly preferred.
• ERP experience required.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
