Accounting Manager​/Controller

Position Overview

Seeking an ambitious and high-performing Accounting Manager to join our growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who wants to work directly alongside the Controller and develop into a Controller or Junior Controller role over the next several years. The ideal candidate is eager to take ownership, continuously improve processes, and grow within a fast-paced organization.

Location: Onsite (Full-Time).

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate and support annual external audits and other compliance requirements.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Partner with leadership on financial analysis and strategic initiatives.
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff as the department grows.
• Work closely with the Controller on day-to-day accounting operations and special projects, preparing for increased leadership responsibilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Prior experience supporting or leading external audits.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, hands‑on environment.
• CPA designation is a plus.
• Public accounting or Big Four experience is preferred but not required.
