Position Summary
Pinarello US Inc. is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our growing finance and accounting team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career accounting or finance professional who wants hands‑on experience in a business environment that combines accounting, customer accounts, inventory, retail operations, and the premium cycling industry.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with 0–1 year of accounting experience who is eager to learn, detail‑oriented, and interested in building a strong foundation in corporate accounting. The Junior Accountant will report directly to the Credit & Accounting Manager and will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, customer account management, payment processing, and month‑end close activities.

Key Responsibilities- Process customer payments accurately and timely.
- Monitor customer accounts and assist with account status updates.
- Support accounts receivable activity, including payment application, customer account review, and follow‑up on open balances.
- Assist with credit applications, customer account setup, and related documentation.
- Help communicate account statuses and payment requirements to internal teams.
- Support month‑end close activities and account reconciliations.
- Assist with accounts payable, expense review, and general accounting tasks as needed.
- Work with internal teams including sales, finance, operations, and customer service.
- Help maintain accurate records in the company’s accounting and ERP systems.
- Assist with special projects related to accounting process improvements, reporting, and internal controls.
- 0–1 year of accounting, finance, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, or related experience.
- Some college coursework required; bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with financial information.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines, and ask thoughtful questions when clarification is needed.
- Comfortable working in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced business environment.
- Prior exposure to accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, or customer account management.
- Experience with Sage X3 or another ERP/accounting system.
- Interest in cycling, outdoor sports, retail, consumer products, or premium lifestyle brands.
- Internship, part‑time, or academic experience related to accounting, finance, or business operations.
- Entry‑level accounting experience in a real corporate finance environment.
- Exposure to AR, AP, customer credit, inventory, retail operations, and month‑end close.

CompensationThe expected compensation range for this position is $48,000–$60,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and qualifications.
