Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation, review, and timely submission of SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and other required disclosures.
- Coordinate the development of financial statements, footnote disclosures, and Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&
A).
- Ensure accurate SEC tagging and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Research and implement new accounting standards and regulatory changes, providing technical guidance on complex transactions such as revenue recognition and business combinations.
- Maintain robust internal controls and support compliance efforts across the organization.
- Collaborate with departments such as legal, investor relations, FP& A, and internal audit to ensure consistency in financial reporting policies.
- Assist external auditors with quarterly reviews and annual audit procedures.
- Drive improvements in reporting processes, systems, and documentation, implementing best practices in corporate accounting.
- Support special initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, system upgrades, and policy updates.
- Prepare materials for earnings releases, board meetings, and investor-related reporting. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including SEC reporting within a public company.
- Background in Big Four public accounting firms is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal control frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience with consolidated financial statements and financial reporting systems.
