Our client is a Logistics organization. They are looking to hire a  
** Sr. Accountant
** on a  
** contract
* * basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to support corporate financial and accounting functions across the Americas region. The role offers exposure to financial reporting, month-end close activities, intercompany accounting, lease accounting, audit support, and large-scale ERP environments. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, work cross-functionally with finance, payroll, AP/AR, and IT teams, and play a key role in the organization's transition from SAP to Oracle Fusion.

This position provides the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, system transformation initiatives, and special projects while maintaining a high level of ownership and visibility within the accounting function.

** Required Skills & Experience*
* · Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

· 5+ years of experience performing similar accounting duties

· In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel

· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

· Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

· High attention to detail, timeliness, and accuracy in execution

** Desired Skills & Experience*
* · Experience in financial analysis

· Knowledge of large ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)

· Experience supporting ERP system transitions

** What You Will Be Doing*

** Daily Responsibilities*
* · Compile and support regional financial statement preparation and analysis

· Create intercompany transactions, including loans and invoicing

· Calculate roll forwards and perform reconciliation of related-party and external intercompany transactions

· Manage IFRS 16 lease accounting activities

· Reconcile payroll tax and net pay accruals with bank transactions

· Prepare and post journal entries in SAP

· Develop and maintain fixed asset schedules and supporting documentation

· Facilitate the month-end accounting close process

· Review, identify, and correct inaccuracies in financial records

· Complete monthly account reconciliations and resolve variances

· Participate in the transition from SAP to Oracle Fusion

· Support external audit requests and provide required documentation

· Contribute to special projects and perform other duties as assigned
