Accounting Manager

A well-established manufacturer in the automotive industry is seeking an Accounting Manager in the Charlotte, North Carolina Metro Area.

Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly close, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting.
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and operational analyses for plant and corporate leadership.
• Manage standard costing, material costs, product costing, and capital expenditure reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable support, journal entries, tax filings, and financial compliance.
• Coordinate annual inventory, financial records, tooling amortization, and asset tracking.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on new product costing, billing inquiries, and continuous process improvements.

Candidates Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting and month-end/year-end close.
• Experience preparing financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and journal entries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate across departments.
