Staff Accountant
Job Summary:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP, assisting with month-end close processes, and supporting internal reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Support AP and AR processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, SAP).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
