Corporate Accounting Senior

A leading investment management firm is looking to add a Senior Associate to its Corporate Accounting team
.

This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional with a background in real estate, private equity, asset management, or public accounting who wants to take on meaningful ownership within a lean, collaborative corporate accounting function.

• Prepare monthly management company financial statements, consolidations, and supporting schedules
• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet/income statement reconciliations
• Manage expense allocations and billbacks across management companies, funds, and deal entities
• Coordinate annual audit schedules and respond to auditor requests
• Support budgeting, management reporting, and quarterly meetings
• Oversee T&E expense processing and corporate Amex activity
• Support treasury functions, including wires, account setup, and user entitlements
• Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve controls, and enhance accounting systems
• Partner with the Controller and broader team on special projects and process improvements

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Public accounting experience with real estate or private equity clients
  , private corporate accounting experience within a real estate firm, or a combination of both
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
• Experience with Sage Intacct or SAP Concur is a plus
• Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities and work independently
