They are seeking an Assistant Controller to help strengthen the accounting organization, improve financial processes, and support executive leadership as the business continues to grown and scale.

What You'll Do

The Assistant Controller will play a highly visible role leading the day-to-day accounting function while helping modernize financial processes and reporting.

Responsibilities Include:

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Maintain the general ledger, account reconciliations, and overall integrity of the financial records
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure ongoing compliance
• Evaluate accounting workflows and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
• Build scalable accounting processes that support the company's rapid growth
• Partner closely with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial reporting
• Develop KPI dashboards and management reporting that support strategic business decisions
• Assist with implementing best practices that improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and operational effectiveness
• Support external audits and regulatory compliance

Ideal Background

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 6-10+ years of accounting experience
• Experience leading month-end close and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
• Experience improving accounting processes and implementing efficiencies
• ERP experience required
• Healthcare, medical device, biotechnology, life sciences, or manufacturing experience is preferred
