About the roleThe Accounting team serves as the central hub for financial reporting, tax compliance, and balance sheet integrity at the company. As a General Ledger Accountant / Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in operating and scaling a Net Suite-based, multi-entity accounting function that supports the company’s growing international footprint.
This role will focus on global balance sheet ownership, tax compliance support, and month-end close execution across multiple legal entities and currencies. You will work hands-on in Net Suite to ensure accurate entity-level and consolidated reporting, maintain intercompany accounting, and support timely, audit-ready financial close processes.
While reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements are core to the role, we take personal ownership over building durable processes and controls. You will partner closely with Finance, Tax, Payroll, Legal, and external advisors to improve how we operate as the company scales globally.
What you’ll do at the company- Support global tax compliance efforts, including coordination with external tax advisors for income tax, indirect tax (VAT/GST), and statutory filings
- Prepare and maintain tax-related balance sheet reconciliations and schedules, ensuring alignment with tax filings and advisor deliverables
- Own and maintain general ledger accounting in Net Suite across multiple international legal entities
- Partner with Payroll and People Ops to ensure accurate accounting for global payroll, benefits, and employer taxes across jurisdictions
- Manage balance sheet accounts for international subsidiaries, including cash, intercompany, accruals, prepaid expenses, payroll, and tax-related accounts
- Execute and support the monthly close process in Net Suite, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and consolidation
- Maintain and reconcile intercompany transactions, including intercompany billing, settlements, eliminations, and funding
- Support multi-currency accounting, including foreign currency remeasurement and translation in accordance with US GAAP
- 4+ years of accounting or audit experience, ideally within SaaS or usage-based revenue environments.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including hands-on experience with ASC 740 and familiarity with broader accounting standards.
- Experience with US federal/state taxes and exposure to international tax frameworks (VAT/GST and foreign corporate taxes).
- Proficient in accounting systems (Net Suite, Quick Books) and productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; effective in cross-functional, collaborative environments.
