Steven Douglas is partnering with a financial services company seeking an Interim Technical Accounting Manager for a 6+ month contract engagement.
This need is 1-2 days/week on-site in Charlotte, North Carolina.
This individual will assist with the following tasks:
- Leading SEC reporting including 10-K, 10-Q, Proxy Statements, and S-3/S-4 filings
- Driving accounting policy development and technical accounting research and documentation
- Supporting consolidations and financial reporting using TM1
- Operating as a strong individual contributor in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively across teams
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- 5+ years of progressive technical accounting and SEC reporting experience
- Strong working knowledge of accounting policy and GAAP
- Workiva experience helpful but not required; TM1 familiarity a plus
- Independent, self-directed work style with strong communication skills and the ability to deliver finished work product with minimal guidance
