Admin Support Associate

Time‑Limited Position – scheduled to expire June 30, 2027 if funding is not secured.

Primary Purpose of Position

The role provides administrative support to faculty, staff, and students. Duties include purchasing, receiving, fund reconciliation, travel, human resources activity, room scheduling, supplies and equipment, mail distribution, greeting guests, grant transactions and reconciliation, department‑funded student employment, event coordination, and other projects as needed.

Job Duties
  • Purchasing, receiving, fund reconciliation, travel, and human resources activity.
  • Primary point of contact for key requests, room scheduling, work requests, supplies, equipment, mail distribution, guest greeting, grant transactions, reconciliation, and student employment.
  • Assist/coordinate department events and other projects.
Minimum Education /Experience

Graduation from high school or an equivalent combination of education and experience. "Equivalent combination" may be years of education, years of directly related experience, or a combination.

Preferred Experience , Skills, and Training
  • Learning student employment, travel, and purchasing processes and assisting faculty with those procedures.
  • Prior experience with state or grant budgets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Banner or similar software.
  • Initiative, problem‑solving, organization, and teamwork.
