Position Title
Administrative Support Specialist - Advanced
Primary Purpose of PositionServes as liaison to students, faculty/staff, parents, affiliates, and University business partners for the Meal Plans and 49er Card program. Specializes in reconciling and manipulating data requirements necessary to operate the Meal Plans and 49er Card Office. Maintains and updates process documentation for all policies and procedures related to the functionality of the office. Performs the appropriate steps related to the specific guidelines and procedures of the Meal Plans and 49er Card Office.
In-depth knowledge of all university policies and procedures related to the operation of the 49er Card Office.
- Perform daily audits of meal plan accounts to ensure eligibility requirements are met and assignments and charges are accurate.
- Manage travel documentation in Concur, ensuring all submissions are processed according to university guidelines.
- Reconcile PCard transactions by reviewing charges, verifying documentation, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies.
- Process departmental purchases and requisitions through 49er Mart in a timely and accurate manner.
- Handle financial transactions, including depositing funds, closing accounts, reconciling transactions, and ensuring all required steps are documented.
- Provide high‑volume customer support to cardholders, including credentialing, answering questions about meal plan policies and business rules, and resolving issues clearly and helpfully.
- Maintain departmental databases and operational records.
- Represent the department during University events such as New Student Orientation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Graduation from high school and one year of related office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with programs such as Banner, Concur, 49er Mart, and Transact.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, including experience supporting data management, reporting, and administrative processes.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey professional information clearly to stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- University experience preferred.

Hours per week: 40
Work Schedule:
8:00 am – 5:00 pm;
Monday – Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours as necessary
Salary Range: $40,665 – $48,961 per year
