Department Detail – The Church Ministry department supports the mission of BGEA to proclaim the Gospel to all we can by every effective means available to us, by encouraging and equipping churches and others to do the same. Church Ministry coordinators and volunteers across the US seek to build relationships with pastors by supporting their ministry in prayer and offering BGEA resources, such as evangelism training, as aids to their ministry.

The Church Ministry department is also central to the Franklin Graham God Loves You Tours, by involving pastors and churches in the work of evangelism.

Job Summary – The Church Ministry Field Support Specialist position supports travel and related administrative processes for contractor teams serving BGEA events across multiple U.S. cities. This role researches and books travel, ensures compliance with BGEA travel and expense policies, tracks travel and invoice activity, and provides responsive support and training to contractors. The position collaborates with internal teams to meet changing travel needs, improve processes, and create a positive and reliable contractor experience while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Ministry Requirements

  • Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
  • Faithfully upholds BGEA in prayer
  • Participates in daily BGEA staff devotions including Bible reading, and leading group prayer as schedule permits
  • Demonstrates behavior aligned with BGEA’s Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Hallmarks, policies, and expectations
  • Effectively represents Jesus Christ to those within both personal and professional spheres of influence

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Tracks and reports on daily contractor travel across multiple cities, simultaneously, in the United States
  • Researches Tour cities to find best travel options available to the contractor teams
  • Books all weekly contractor travel, including flights, hotel and car reservations, based on contractor assignment and BGEA travel policy
  • Maintains highest knowledge on BGEA travel and expense policies
  • Collaborates with colleagues to coordinate contractor travel in support of Pre-Tour events and Follow-up
  • Trains and educates new contractors and existing contractors on Travel and Finance best practices and policies
  • Communicates with contractors, ensuring that travel and invoice requests, questions and concerns, are handled responsively and professionally
  • Creates a positive and reliable experience for contractors
  • Identifies areas for contractor travel and invoice process improvements
  • Carefully tracks contractor travel and invoice payments for the department
  • Maintains confidentiality with sensitive personal information

  • Bachelor-level degree and/or ministry experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Positive team-oriented attitude
