Position:
Facilities Resource Specialist II
Location: NC Market - supporting both the Fire & Life Safety Support Services team and the Training and Education team.
Full Time; 1st Shift;
Mon-Fri
Major Responsibilities:
- Provides technical and administrative support to the Facilities department(s), requiring competency using computerized maintenance management systems, computer systems maintaining facility drawings and plans, learning management systems, capital management, and all other applicable systems and programs utilized to support Facilities operations.
- Serves as departmental Asset Inventory Professional (AIP) for department/facility, providing teammates and leadership as local super-user of computerized maintenance management systems, which includes creating work orders, tracking work orders, and preparing routine and ad hoc reporting. This includes monitoring analytics provided by the CMMS system, looking for trends and reporting to leadership, and supporting the department by following up on customer survey activity.
- Support departmental capital projects by managing budgets in Workday, partnering with Project Assistants for purchase orders and invoicing, and collecting and submitting project closeout information.
- Maintains departmental procedures for maintenance, repair and work activities. In coordination with the Facilities CMMS team, advises, and updates management, and other staff on process and preventive maintenance changes. Maintains department documentation including current workflows, requirements, functional specifications, installation instructions, test procedures, user manuals, procedures and troubleshooting guidelines.
- Delivers department level training on updated policies, procedures, and safety-related material.
- Any additional responsibilities as assigned, including those required of the Facilities Resource Specialist I role.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification
Required:
- None Required
Education Required:
- HS diploma or GED.
Experience
Required:
- Minimum of two years of experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Required:
- Experience using computerized maintenance management and learning management programs. Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and associated documentation. Experience using Microsoft suite of applications, and other general office equipment and tools. (advanced training and/or experience with computer programs for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations)
Physical Requirements and
Working Conditions:
- Exposed to a normal office environment.
- Must be able to respond quickly and appropriately in stressful situations.
- May be asked to work outside of normal working hours.
- May require extensive walking and time spent standing.
- May require travel between supported sites.
- May require the use of personal protective equipment.
Preferred Education:
- Associates degree, trade school certificate, or equivalent.
Preferred Experience:
- Five years of experience in a healthcare and/or facilities environment.
