LHH Is seeking a Housing Support Coordinator for a temporary position in Charlotte, NC! The Housing Support Coordinator provides administrative, customer support, and program coordination services within a housing assistance environment. This role is responsible for managing incoming requests, supporting program participants and external partners, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with daily operational activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
This position is fully onsite in Charlotte, NC Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
Customer Service & Communications
- Serve as a primary contact for incoming inquiries received through email, phone, and other communication channels.
- Evaluate requests and direct them to the appropriate internal resources.
- Provide timely and professional assistance to clients, housing providers, community organizations, and service partners.
- Document interactions and maintain detailed records within internal systems.
- Assist with the processing and verification of program-related documentation.
- Respond to questions regarding eligibility requirements, documentation, and payment processes.
- Maintain electronic records and ensure data accuracy across multiple systems.
- Support compliance with established policies, procedures, and program guidelines.
- Collaborate with external organizations, housing providers, and community partners to facilitate service delivery.
- Provide administrative assistance related to referrals, program participation, and resource coordination.
- Communicate updates, process changes, and other relevant information to stakeholders as needed.
- Help strengthen relationships with community partners through responsive and professional support.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and routine program documentation.
- Monitor workflow queues and assist in meeting departmental service standards.
- Support special projects and initiatives designed to improve operational efficiency.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing demands.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.

- Comfortable interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in customer service, program coordination, or a related field.
- Non-Profit experience would be a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with databases, CRM platforms, or case management systems preferred.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) language skills are a plus.
