Whether you work at our headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove (BGTC) in Asheville, North Carolina, Blue Ridge Broadcasting (BRB) in Asheville, North Carolina or a field office abroad, you are part of a team of committed Christians working together to reach people to the ends of the earth with the Gospel.

Department Detail –The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Internship Program provides college students and recent graduates with opportunities to gain practical experience while using their skills to help advance BGEA’s mission of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Interns serve in various departments and ministry areas at BGEA locations in Charlotte or Asheville, North Carolina. Department assignments and specific projects vary based on ministry needs and available internship opportunities.
Throughout the program, interns work alongside experienced BGEA staff, contribute to meaningful projects and day-to-day ministry operations, and gain exposure to the work and mission of BGEA.
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) Internship Program provides college students and recent graduates with practical, hands-on experience serving within a Christian ministry environment. Interns work alongside experienced ministry staff and contribute to projects, programs, and day-to-day operations within their assigned department while developing skills and gaining practical experience in their area of assignment.
This summer term of the Internship Program begins on Wednesday, May 19, 2027, and concludes on Friday, July 30, 2027. Applications must be submitted no later than December 5, 2026. Applicants must submit a cover letter and resume along with their application.
Ministry Requirements- Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
- Faithfully upholds BGEA in prayer
- Participates in daily BGEA staff devotions including Bible reading, and leading group prayer as schedule permits
- Demonstrates behavior aligned with BGEA’s Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Hallmarks, policies, and expectations
- Effectively represents Jesus Christ to those within both personal and professional spheres of influence
- Performs duties and responsibilities associated with the assigned internship, which will vary based on department, ministry needs, and specific projects
- Assists with departmental projects, programs, events, initiatives, and day-to-day operations as assigned
- Works alongside BGEA staff to gain practical experience and an understanding of departmental functions and ministry operations
- Completes assigned projects and responsibilities accurately, thoroughly, and within established timelines
- Conducts research, gathers information, prepares materials, and provides administrative, operational, technical, creative, or project support as applicable to the assigned department
- Participates in meetings, training, ministry activities, and other learning opportunities related to the internship assignment
- Collaborates effectively with staff, fellow interns, volunteers, and other ministry partners
- Demonstrates flexibility and a willingness to assist with changing priorities and ministry needs throughout the internship
- Follows BGEA policies, procedures, guidelines, and departmental practices while carrying out assigned responsibilities
- Maintains appropriate confidentiality when working with ministry, donor, employee, financial, technical, or other sensitive information, as applicable to the internship assignment
- Performs other duties and assists with special projects as assigned
