Position: Payroll Specialist - 1157828
Responsibilities
  • Monitor service delivery queues and respond to inquiries.
  • Resolve and handle payroll issues proactively.
  • Research customer questions independently in order to provide solutions.
  • Monitor payroll interfaces, identify irregularities, and assist in their resolution.
  • Perform Payroll Processing for Domestic, International, Expatriate, Stock, and Relocation Employees.
  • Perform time entry validation and variance analysis.
  • Confirm and validate all payroll information, including deductions, taxes, and discrepancies.
  • Identifies opportunities for transaction entry and process optimization.
  • Plays a crucial part in payroll projects and leads implementations of optimization.
  • Provide internal and external audits with data, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Work with internal and external partners on all initiatives and engagements relating to payroll.
  • Assists with system testing and updates.
  • Assign extra tasks for assistance and support.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years' experience in Payroll, Accounting, or a similar field is required.
  • Self-motivated, high-energy individual with exceptional time and project management skills.
  • Utilization of pivot tables, v-lookups, graphs, and charts in Excel.
  • Multi-state union and non-union with year-end/federal/state/local tax experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and judgment abilities, as well as meticulousness and precision.
  • Excellence-oriented, goal-oriented, self-motivated, organized, and capable of juggling multiple responsibilities.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve, and be willing to assist wherever it is required.
  • Able to work effectively with team members and third-party vendors.
  • Strong feeling of responsibility and the capacity to work with minimal oversight, Strong understanding of financial controls and adherence to laws and procedures.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of deductions, garnishments, and taxes.
  • Knowledge of the HIPAA and FLSA requirements.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Workday HCM, ADP Global View, ADP Streamline, and SAP.
  • Payroll certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration/finance or accounting preferred.
  • Bilingual, either in English and Spanish or in English and German.
