Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new suppliers mechanics, plastics, C parts in collaboration with R&D, Cost Engineer, Supply Chain, Quality and relevant company departments.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, covering both technical and commercial terms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent performance and resolve issues. This includes maintaining regular communication, monitoring supplier performance against defined metrics, and collaborating on continuous improvement initiatives
- Regularly review and update pricing, terms, and conditions to reflect market trends and business requirements.
- Conduct in-depth market analyses to identify trends, benchmark costs, and strategic sourcing decisions.
- Analyze and evaluate supplier bids to secure the best value for the organization.
- Conduct supplier scouting and on-site visits to evaluate capabilities and development potential, ensuring alignment with the company's quality and performance standards
- Manage the placement of purchase orders and work together with Logistics and Supply chain to ensure timely and accurate delivery while tracking goods received and processing invoices
- Daily connection with Alpitronic SRL Purchasing Team to guarantee global purchasing strategy application on US territory Ensure compliance in US of the Alpitronic global purchasing procedures in full alignment with Alpitronic SRL standards and best practices.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical and plastic components procurement.
- Proven experience in market and supplier analysis.
- Expertise in introducing and/or optimizing procurement tools and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- Solution-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
