Vice President Business Development & Marketing
15+ years of work experience demonstrating the knowledge, skill, and ability in the following areas essential to perform the functions of the position.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesWill be primarily responsible for managing and executing Business Development and Marketing activities in alignment with the Company Strategy. Works collaboratively with corporate leadership to establish sales expectations, goals and measured metrics. Responsible for building a brand that exemplifies Baker Power & Process’ mission and connects with the value of our customers. In addition, also responsible for supporting preconstruction and operational activities from RFP to project completion.
Serves as a key client contact for projects under execution, as well as a key contact for numerous internal and external organizations.
- Create, administer, and implement the business development strategies and tactics for the company in alignment with the overarching Company Strategy.
- Identify, evaluate, solicit, and follow‑up with targets through multiple sales, communications, and marketing methods (e.g., network leveraging, cold calling, conference attendance, social media, public relations, presentations, etc.).
- Oversee and implement full sales cycle, including market research, needs analysis and presentation.
- Estimating, proposal and project execution support.
- Build and direct business development staff to achieve corporate sales and financial objectives for organizational growth.
- Establish and achieve sales goals, metrics, and milestones. Track and report on progress and success.
- Ensure effective utilization of company budget resources dedicated to meaningful bid opportunities, and not spent on low probability prospects.
- Create and manage marketing collateral, presentations and publications.
- Capture prospect and market needs and trends and consult with executive leadership and internal teams for solution development.
- Devise means to determine effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns; monitor and adjust for continuous improvement.
- Communicate and support brand standardization across organization.
