Purchasing Intern

Your role Are you majoring in Supply Chain, Business or a related field? Are you looking for some real-world job experience? If yes, this internship is for you! The Atlas Copco Group will be offering a 10-week paid summer internship to an undergraduate or graduate student. The intern will work within the Purchasing team on a wide variety of projects and assignments, including but not limited to:
Assist in monitoring vendor performance Use SAP and other systems to gather and analyze supplier data Prepare information for supplier review meetings and performance improvement plans Implement strategic sourcing initiatives Assist with monitoring inventory levels Communicate urgent needs to necessary parties To succeed, you will need We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement. Enrolled as a Junior/Senior or Graduate student at an accredited college, university or technical/vocational institution Obtaining a degree in Supply Chain, Distribution, or Business Administration Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Have excellent attention to detail, be well-organized and show initiative. Take initiative, positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Experience using Microsoft office programs.
