As Director of MDU Sales
, you will play a pivotal leadership role in overseeing and expanding our Multi‑Dwelling Unit (MDU) operations. You will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring the successful execution of initiatives within the MDU sector. This position requires an innovative leader with deep industry knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional results to property owners, residents, and partners.
- Develop and execute the overall strategy for MDU sales efforts, including market analysis, business development, and expansion plans.
- Lead a high‑performance business development team in the successful pursuit and execution of Bulk, Marketing, and Access agreements for MDU communities within the defined region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, owners, developers, HOA board members, and other key stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and oversee the implementation of innovative solutions to drive growth within the MDU market.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting to ensure financial performance aligns with organizational goals.
- Conduct regular field engagement with prospects and team members to successfully exceed sales targets.
- Manage, mentor and develop team members to foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
- Experience working with technology solutions in MDU environments.
- Established network within the multi‑family or property management industry.
- Proven success in developing and executing strategic business plans.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and forecasts.
- Ability to build relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Solid understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- History of leading successful change management initiatives.
- Expertise in contract negotiation and partner relationship management.
- Advanced proficiency in standard CRM systems or software.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and implement process improvements.
