Sr Manager, Finance Business Partner (Delivered Fresh) partners closely with the Sales team to develop customer and channel strategies and drive profitable customer growth in line with the strategy. The role works closely across the Demand organization, and other key finance and non-finance stakeholders, to steer value creation across our customer portfolio. This role is a catalyst for change by bringing an outside-in perspective, financial analysis and insights to frame issues and drive actions.
A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Partner with Sales to develop Customer and Channel strategies. Transform these strategies into integrated value creation plans. Identify levers and priority initiatives to deliver value creation goals.
- Provide insights into financial performance, proactively identify and analyze business issues and opportunities and drive actions to meet financial commitments.
- Communicate risks and opportunities against delivery of plan and propose corrective actions.
- Bring perspective by analyzing trends, performance indicators and connect Customer/Channel performance with overall business performance.
- Serve as trusted advisor to the Head of Sales and partner with Sales teams to deliver Channel business objectives including growth, profitability and value creation.
- Lead periodic sales reviews to evaluate risks and opportunities, drive trade-off decisions and ensure Channel strategies support overall business objectives.
- Partner with Sales to drive profitable Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Door Rationalization and Improvement plans, as well as key activities to execute these plans.
- Proactively analyze and manage Customer P&L with close attention to contribution margin to deliver optimal sales and profit.
- Ensure strong financial controls are embedded across Sales.
- Support ad-hoc requests and projects.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Master’s degree and/or CPA preferred.
- 5-10+ years of relevant experience with emphasis on sales finance, financial planning & analysis, business partnering and consulting.
- High business acumen, approachability, driving accountability and follow through and an ROI mindset.
- Demonstrated analytical and insights capabilities.
- The ability to think creatively, perform independently and be driven by curiosity.
- Use of financial systems, Oracle, One Stream, Circana, Excel, PPT, Word, Power
BI, etc. a plus.
