Job Summary: This senior Business Execution Consultant serves as an execution partner to Market Risk and Capital Markets leadership, orchestrating multi‑team execution across 5–7 product areas. The consultant evaluates complex business execution challenges, drives cross‑portfolio alignment, and ensures delivery governance across medium‑to‑large initiatives. The role requires strong strategic judgment, executive‑level communication, and the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders, Product Owners, Technology, and Risk functions to ensure clear roadmaps, well‑managed dependencies, and predictable execution.
TopRequirements
- 5+ years Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent across work, consulting, training, military, or education.
- 8+ years experience in Business Execution, Program Delivery, Product Execution, or Consulting roles in large, regulated financial institutions.
- Demonstrated success orchestrating delivery across multiple product teams, not single‑team Scrum roles.
- Strong, hands‑on JIRA experience with backlog management, dependency mapping, and delivery reporting at scale.
- Proven ability to produce executive‑level reporting for senior leadership.
- Strong communication presence with ability to communicate crisply:
- Upward to senior leaders/executives
- Sideways with Product Owners, Technology, and Risk partners
- Prior exposure to Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Market Risk, Treasury, or Regulatory Reporting.
- Experience acting as a right‑hand execution partner to senior leadership.
- Ability to translate complex Capital Markets initiatives into structured, trackable, governed execution plans.
- Experience coordinating cross‑team execution across 5–7 interdependent product groups.
- Executive presence, judgment, and ability to manage ambiguity in high‑stakes environments.
- Strong familiarity with enterprise‑scale governance, risk management, and delivery frameworks.
- Operate as a business consultant and execution partner to senior Capital Markets and Market Risk leaders.
- Support prioritization, sequencing, and delivery planning for medium‑to‑large initiatives.
- Partner with multiple Product Owners to align roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and team capacity across 5–7 concurrent product areas.
- Own initiative‑level execution tracking, including delivery health, risks, issues, and cross‑team dependencies.
- Use JIRA and related tools to track progress, manage backlogs, and create reporting for deliverables.
- Produce crisp, executive‑ready reporting for senior leaders and governance bodies.
- Build strong partnerships with Technology, Risk, and Product counterparts.
- Evaluate complex Business Execution challenges and provide structured recommendations.
- Ensure alignment with Business Execution policy, compliance, and governance standards.
