The Senior Business Operations & Strategy Consultant serves as a strategic business management partner to the TD&O Wealth organization, helping drive operational excellence, organizational alignment, and consistent execution of key business priorities. This role works closely with Wealth TD&O leadership and cross functional partners to support strategic planning, business operations, performance management, governance routines, and execution of divisional objectives.

As a trusted advisor and coordinator, the Senior Business Operations & Strategy Consultant helps translate strategy into action by leading complex technology initiatives, managing operational rhythms, and delivering insights that support informed decision making. The role integrates people, processes, technology, and data to improve organizational effectiveness, enhance transparency, and strengthen alignment across the Wealth Technology organization and enterprise partners.

Core responsibilities include supporting executive reporting, operational governance, business planning, performance analytics, communications, workforce and financial management activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role serves as a key point of coordination across business, technology, finance, risk, human resources, and other support functions to ensure priorities, risks, and deliverables are effectively managed and aligned to organizational objectives.

  • Leads the execution of larger technology projects, coordinating operational activities to ensure efficiency, reliability, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Identifies, designs, and implements process and technology improvements to enhance operational workflows within area of responsibility.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align business operations with technology strategies and organizational goals.
  • Analyses and reports on performance metrics to drive continuous operational improvements.
  • Executes on operational technology strategies and initiatives to support business objectives.
  • Integrates innovative solutions to improve business outcomes and operational effectiveness.
  • As applicable, drives strategic alignment and operational excellence by guiding key external partnerships and leading cost-optimization efforts that enhance financial performance and support organizational objectives.
  • Ensures compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
  • Communicates operational status, risks, and improvement plans to senior stakeholders and leadership.
  • Provides coaching, guidance, and leadership to junior team members and supports their professional development.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in business operations or related professional roles.
  • Strong knowledge of business processes, technology applications, and operational management.
  • Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).

  • Wealth Management and Financial Services Experience
    Experience supporting technology, operations, or business management functions within Wealth Management, Financial Services, or related business segments, with an understanding of industry products, services, and regulatory considerations.
