About the Role
Okuma America is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Analyst to transform data into meaningful business insights that support strategic decision-making. In this role, you'll partner with Sales, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to analyze performance trends, develop reporting tools, and identify opportunities that drive business growth.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, building dashboards, uncovering trends, and helping teams make informed decisions.
What You'll Do- Analyze sales performance, order activity, distributor inventory, and market trends to provide actionable insights.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that support business planning and decision-making.
- Monitor sales quotas, distributor performance, and inventory activity across territories and product lines.
- Segment and analyze data by product, customer type, industry, geography, and other key business metrics.
- Prepare reports and presentations for executive leadership, including quarterly business reviews.
- Identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, and areas needing attention across the business.
- Help maintain data accuracy and integrity across CRM, ERP, and reporting systems.
- Support market share reporting, order tracking, and other sales operations activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting processes and deliver valuable business intelligence.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, marketing analytics, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience working with CRM and/or ERP systems preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly to various audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
