We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery of critical Risk and Regulatory initiatives within a large financial institution. This individual will manage project scope, timelines, cross-functional coordination, and stakeholder engagement while translating complex business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, UAT, and post-production support
- Partner with developers, QA teams, subject-matter experts, business users, and senior management across multiple geographies
- Perform root cause, gap, and current-state versus future-state analyses
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements
- Translate business needs into clear IT and functional requirements
- Oversee testing, training, and change-management activities throughout project rollouts
- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, issues, dependencies, and action plans
- Provide regular project updates and recommendations to senior management
- Manage multiple complex initiatives with minimal supervision
- 10+ years of professional experience within large financial institutions
- Strong experience supporting Risk and Regulatory initiatives, including CCAR, FRTB, or similar programs
- Hands-on experience with regulatory implementations, reporting, and supporting documentation
- Strong knowledge of Credit Risk, financial instruments, market data, trading systems, and risk governance
- Experience with in commercial or investment banking
- Understanding of financial operations, MIS, data management, and reporting processes
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile project-management frameworks
- Proficiency with Jira, MS Project, Confluence, Service Now, Visio, and Excel
- Proficiency in SQL;
Databricks experience is a plus - Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical and financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
