Position Summary
We are seeking a caring, energetic, and responsible Daycare Teacher to join our team. The Daycare Teacher will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children while supporting their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and welcoming classroom environment
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring safety and well-being
- Support children’s emotional and social development
- Maintain positive communication with parents and guardians
- Monitor and document children’s progress and behavior
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom
- Follow all state licensing regulations and daycare policies
- Assist with meals, snacks, and nap time routines
- Collaborate with other staff members to support overall program goals
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous childcare or daycare experience preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to pass background checks as required by state regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay:
Up to $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
