Sitework Superintendent – Grading & Underground Utilities (Charlotte, NC)
Lead field operations for commercial, light industrial, and residential sitework projects, focusing on grading and underground utilities. Manage multiple projects and crews, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, quality, and cost performance across turnkey sitework initiatives.

- Lead day-to-day field operations for multiple concurrent sitework projects
- Direct grading, earthwork, and roadway subgrade prep, plus installation of storm, sanitary, and water systems
- Coordinate crews, foremen, equipment, materials, and daily work plans to maximize productivity and safety
- Conduct site inspections to monitor safety compliance, quality, and progress
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and clients to troubleshoot and resolve field issues
- Mentor foremen and crew leads to strengthen team performance and accountability
- Manage logistics, equipment, and materials, traveling locally between job sites as needed
- 10+ years of field supervision in heavy civil or turnkey sitework construction
- Proven ability to lead multiple crews on grading, underground utility, and sitework projects
- Strong technical knowledge of grading, earthwork, and utility installation methods
- Skilled in construction plan reading, grade stakes, and project documentation
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and field coordination
- Commitment to safety, quality, and consistent execution
- Familiarity with equipment operation, trenching, shoring, and utility installation best practices
- Local to Charlotte, NC, or willing to travel between job sites
