A well-established civil contractor in Charlotte is seeking Estimators at levels to support a major phase of strategic growth and investment. This is a planned expansion of the estimating team as the Charlotte division continues to scale.
In the last 18 months the business has more than doubled in size and since being acquired by a major regional organization, the leadership team now has a clear mandate to grow the Charlotte operation. The current estimating team consists of 4 estimators, and the company is looking to add 4 more as part of this next phase of expansion.
This contractor specializes in civil & site development work, mass grading, utilities including water, sewer and storm systems, subdivision development and commercial site packages. Project values typically range from $5-$50 million.
We are seeking Estimators with experience in civil site development, particularly grading and utilities. Strong skills in take-offs, pricing, and bid preparation are essential. Senior Estimators will lead full estimates, manage complex site packages, and contribute to strategic bid decisions. Entry-level or Assistant Estimators, including recent construction graduates, are also welcome.
The estimating team uses Bid2
Win for estimating and Agtek for take-offs. While experience with these platforms is a plus, it is not required for candidates who bring strong estimating skills, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to growing within the role.
These roles offer the chance to join a division that has already demonstrated significant growth, is financially backed, and has a clear long-term vision.
