Morgan Corp. is currently searching for a Geostructural Project Manager.

Our growing Industrial Division is a multi-disciplined construction group that self-performs Concrete, Electrical, Structural, and Pipe scopes in industrial process facilities. The Industrial Division is based in our Spartanburg office and performs work throughout the Southeast.

Our team is growing, and we are seeking discipline-specific (civil/electrical/pipe/structural) or multi-disciplined Project Managers to continue to grow. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who acts with integrity and leads by example.

Geostructural Division Services
  • Design Build Geostructural/Geotechnical Construction
  • Traditional and Specialty Foundation piles (Driven piles, Sheet piles, Micropiles, Helical piers, etc.)
  • Grouting and Shotcrete Systems (Shotcrete Walls, Rock Anchors, Tiebacks, etc.)

Our scopes sometimes come from an engineered set of drawings provided to us by a client, but often our scopes are developed as a team with the client in response to a unique site condition issue that has developed. As such, this position requires a strong problem-solving skillset and a desire to develop solutions that strike a balance between constructability and design.

Qualifications
  • Proven working experience as an estimator, project manager, or superintendent
  • Construction experience in foundation, excavation support, bridge construction, specialty design-build, or geotechnical/geostructural fields
  • 3 to 5 years of related management experience, or equivalent combinations of education, technical training, and related experience
  • Background in engineering and design is beneficial (but not required)
  • Working knowledge of construction equipment and the ability to select the best tools for the job
  • A problem-solving mindset and desire to achieve success for the team by leading by example
  • Sense of urgency and ability to respond to changing situations with a positive attitude by focusing on issues and not emotions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. Must be able to convey information by telephone, email, and in-person; and effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations, which may include customers, vendors, and/or other employees
  • Ability to resolve problems involving several variables with limited supervision
  • Willingness and ability to travel and work at job sites located predominantly in the southeastern United States
  • Exposure and working knowledge of AutoCAD/Bluebeam/MS Office
  • Contractor licensing or willingness to gain licensing is a plus.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • PTO, holidays, and a paid winter shutdown
  • Company vehicle
  • Professional development & career growth opportunities
  • Supportive team environment in a respected, growing company
