Responsibilities

- Lead civil construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout
- Responsible for overall project planning, coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and execution to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
- Manage all phases of civil construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cost reports, and forecasts
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Review contracts, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance
- Procure materials and subcontractor services as required
- Track project progress and prepare reports for management and clients
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and company policies
- Identify project risks, resolve issues, and implement mitigation strategies
- Manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of project management experience in civil construction
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and cost control
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar)
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel to job sites as needed
- Preferred experience managing site development, utilities, earthwork, or roadway construction projects
- Preferred familiarity with local and state construction regulations
