Job Overview
Permanent Industrial Superintendent (Travel) - Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year.
Responsibilities- Direct and oversee all on-site construction activities, including scheduling of workers, delivery of equipment and materials, and project progress.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of all construction activities and teams, ensuring all tasks performed safely and efficiently.
- Manage and control all direct and indirect construction expenditures to keep the project within budget.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other construction specialists, ensuring all project requirements are met.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols, ensuring all site personnel adhere to safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure the work meets performance standards, codes, and specifications.
- Resolve any on-site issues or disputes, maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on project progress, costs, and performance.
- Travel to various construction sites as required, ensuring projects are proceeding as planned and addressing any issues that arise.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in piping, process pipe, self-performing construction, and industrial operations.
- Proven track record of successfully overseeing and completing industrial construction projects.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel frequently to various construction sites.
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. - Preferred: OSHA 30‑hour safety certification or equivalent.
- Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office.
