DescriptionJob Summary:
Assists supervisor and coordinates activities for workers engaged in roofing, new construction, siding, maintenance of existing building/clients grounds by performing the following duties.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspects work areas to determine type of work required and materials and equipment to be used.
- Runs errands and assists supervisors in supply pick-up and drop-off.
- Operates equipment such as forklifts.
- Assists with pre, post, and safety inspections.
- Takes pictures of work to aid Field Supervisors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Proficient with technology.
- Bilingual preferred.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One year of construction experience preferred.
- Knowledge of roofing or siding preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50-85 pounds at times.
- Must be able to climb ladder and traverse roof at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of construction site in various types of weather.
