  • Gather and organize all necessary bid documents including civil plans, CAD files, and vendor or subcontractor quotations.
  • Assist with identifying and quantifying cost factors such as labor, materials, equipment, and production time.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and support the estimating team in developing project estimates.
  • Collaborate with engineers, clients, vendors, and internal staff to review estimates and resolve any questions or discrepancies.
  • Utilize estimating software including Bid2

    Win, Agtek Materials/Earthwork, and Microsoft Excel to prepare estimates and track project data.
  • Assist with compiling bid proposals and ensuring all required documentation is complete prior to submission.
  • Maintain organized records of estimates, bid documents, and cost data for future reference.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings and project discussions as needed.
Position Requirements Include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Internship or entry-level experience in construction or estimating is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of construction plans, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn estimating software such as Bid2

    Win, Agtek, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
