Environmental Consultant - Stormwater​/NPDES Inspector

HB NEXT is seeking a full‑time Environmental Consultant / NPDES Inspector based in Charlotte, NC.

Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented professional who enjoys working outdoors, values flexibility, and is passionate about environmental compliance in the construction industry.

• Conduct stormwater and NPDES inspections on construction sites
• Collaborate with site personnel to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
• Document findings and provide recommendations using HB NEXT’s proprietary software
• Travel to various job sites across the region

• National or NC Erosion Certification (or equivalent), Charlotte‑Mecklenburg certification or the ability to obtain within 60 days (training available through HB NEXT)
• Prior construction or field inspection experience highly preferred
• Strong communication skills and a self‑starter mindset
• Salary Range: $35,000.00 To $42,000.00 Annually
