Overview
DPR Construction is offering internships for the Build Up High School Internship in Construction Management. The internship provides hands‑on experience on a major commercial construction project, with interns working side‑by‑side with a project team in a job trailer and on the active construction site.
Responsibilities- Assist with subcontractor coordination, document control, quality inspections, schedule updates, safety training, and site plan updates.
- Perform a range of entry‑level construction management assignments independently and under mentor guidance.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to project documentation.
- Complete an 8‑week Capstone project that reflects on learning and career goals.
- Develop presentation, communication and leadership skills through daily team interactions.
- High school juniors, seniors, or May 2020 graduates.
- Family income below HUD MFI for your county.
- Legally entitled to work in the U.S.
- Demonstrated interest in the built environment.
- Ability to commit to an 8‑week internship, 40 hours per week.
- Ability to commute to a project site daily; hours are flexible to accommodate transportation needs.
Interns will be paid on an hourly basis. The exact role and responsibilities may vary based on the assigned project. Internship dates are flexible to accommodate summer schedules.
